The 2023 Harker Programming Invitational will be held on March 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Our annual contest challenges students with USACO-like problems, which can test students on algorithmic knowledge while also preparing them for the Stanford ProCo Contest (http://proco.stanford.edu/). Teams of up to 3 students compete in 2 rounds of contests (a regular and tiebreaker round) to score as many points as possible by solving a number of problems and submitting the answers online. Prizes are awarded! During the competition, the regular and tiebreaker rounds are 1.5 and 1 hour long, respectively. It consists of two divisions, Novice and Advanced. Problems of each division are similar to those of the Stanford ProCo Contest.
In addition to the competition itself, we host a keynote speaker and panel with leaders from industry and academia. This year, our theme will be the intersection of CS and the environment!
